1 hurt in acid spill at Las Vegas Strip resort
Part of the Las Vegas Strip was shut down for more than two hours and a man was hospitalized after officials say he fell in a puddle of acid that leaked during delivery at a resort hotel. Wynn Resorts spokeswoman Jennifer Dunne says the man was a visitor but not a guest at the posh Wynn hotel.

Nev. Assembly OKs stripped-down online poker bill
Members of the Assembly unanimously passed the measure, which calls on Nevada regulators to design rules that would only take effect after the federal government legalizes online gambling. It now goes to the Senate, and the sponsor said he expects it will pass on that side.
